Welcome to Age Concern Eden
| Age Concern Eden is one of a
network of 400 organisations in the UK, working independently, but
supported and represented nationally by Age Concern, the federation. We work with volunteers to promote the
well-being of older people and to help make later life a fulfilling and
enjoyable experience. Our volunteers, who offer a great variety of skills, come from all age groups and have a desire to help older people. As well as giving time and commitment to improving the quality of life of others, they also derive a lot of pleasure from contributing positively to their local community.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to help enrich the lives of older people living within Eden District in the County of Cumbria. Where are we? Our main Resource Centre is based in Sandgate, Penrith and is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am - 12.30pm and 1pm - 4pm. Outside office hours we can be contacted via our 24 hour answerphone. We also have bases in Alston, Shap, Appleby and Kirkby Stephen. Contact Details
